About Me

Rachel Haverkamp   

Musical Educator and Performer with over 7 years of experience providing student growth and development through Music and Theatre Arts.

Born in Edmonton, lived for 15 years in Sherwood Park and now resides in Fort Saskatchewan. 

Rachel went to the Kings University in Edmonton where she earned her Bachelor of Music Degree specializing in vocal performance.

She has been teaching for 11 years and performing for 15. Her theatrical experiences include Choral ensembles, Opera, Musical Theatre, Rock, Jazz, Improv, Directing, Music Directing, Acting, Dancing, Conducting and Sound Design.

-Composed and executed lesson plans for both group and individual voice & piano students.

-Organized and facilitated music recitals.

-Provided and ran Masterclass lectures.


Sweet Tune Studios (founder and teacher)

 Fort Saskatchewan: Created in 2011

-Created personal Music Studio "Sweet Tune Studios" offering voice and piano education.

-Planning and preparing personalized lessons in order to cater to the individual needs of each learner.

-Collect relevant instruction materials and resources.

-Teaching theory, aural skills and practical music techniques to pupils.

-Facilitating student rehearsals and performances.

Studied music and performance for 5 & a half years.  Graduated on the advanced artists track, specialized in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy.
